It is a new beginning for me, writing in this cyberspace in English..indeed a space i don’t know how wide it is. a simple starts for me, i remember a prophetic words. It is narrated in an authentic words of the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, that each and every single of our actions begin with an aim, an intention. Thus, if the intention is good, he will get what’s good from it. I myself here intend to improve my basic english writing, and share knowledge with friends from any field all over the world, especially from medical field. I hope fellow readers will help me all the way here, and I seeks Allah’s guidance in every action I take.
Well, about my life as a medical student, I’m now in the fourth semester of medical school, in a Christian University in Jakarta, Indonesia. Universitas Kristen Krida Wacana, or in short UKRIDA. We are at the end of the 15th module, ‘Skin and Integument’. Tomorrow i’ll have to present our discussion about this case of a 35 year-old man who had tinea cruris. Our batch (2006) are the pioneer of this new curriculum, Problem-based Learning (PBL) in this university. We are divided to two main groups with each groups one clinical case, then these groups would have to present everything they had collected about the case, from all sources of info in the internet, journals and books. I dont know if this curricula is the same as the one practiced worldwide but i just simply hope i can give my best out of this hard curricula, compared to the previous batch (2005), who adapted the traditional curricula and is much more easier (said them). Whaever it is, i hope this is best for a starting of my blog. Yet I have to prepare for tomorrow’s presentation, they called it Pleno or Seminar here. Wish me of all my best!
